Miss. Prerana Bhat of Grade 8 has won Silver Medal in 300mtr.rink race for CBSE South Zone Skating Championship 2016 held at Tirupati on 16th Dec.2016. She has been qualified for the Nationals. Hearty Congratulations from Principal and Staff !.

 

 
 
 

CBSE South Zone Skating Tournament 2015-16

 
   
 

Prerana Bhat of Class VII B participated in the 31st Skating Championship conducted by Karnataka Roller Skating Association ( KRSA) from 30th Oct. to 1st Nov. at Bangalore. She bagged Silver Medal in the 300 mtrs. Time trial Inline Event and was qualified for Roller Skating Federation of India (RSFI) to be conducted in the month of Jan. at Pune.
She also participated in the CBSE South Zone Skating Competition held at D.R.S International school, Hyderabad from 5th Nov. to 8th Nov. and bagged second place in the 300 mtrs. Time trail (Inline).

Prerana Bhat secures GOLD medal in the event of 300 mtr. Inline with a performance of 36.08 under the age group of 14. in the CBSE National Skating Championship organized in URMI school and Hostel from 30th Dec. 2015 to 2nd Jan 2016.

KLES’ International School student shine in skating

The students and skaters of KLES’ International School Prerana Bhat and Swaraj Kalghagti have been selected for the CBSE National Skating Championship to be held at Moolji Bhai Mehta International School at Virar in Mumbai from 6th December to 9th December. At the CBSE South Zone Skating Championship held in Belagavi, Prerana Bhat of 5th Standard bagged the gold medal in 1,500 road race in the under-12 category.

At the CBSE South Zone Skating Championship held in Belagavi, Prerana Bhat of 5th Standard bagged the gold medal in 1,500 road race in the under-12 category. Swaraj Kalghatagi of class 3rd bagged the silver medal in 300 meter rink race and bronze medal in 500 m rink race in the under-10 category.
Sanjana Kerkar of class 9th bagged bronze medal in 5,000 meter road race in the under-19 category.

19th Oct. 2013, second day of the CBSE South Zone Skating Championship 2013 skating championship began with road races for under-19 boys and girls. The skaters participated in Quad and Inline events with full enthusiasm. The event took place at Hanuman Nagar Double Road. Principal Mrs. Arti Mishra,

Referees, Coaches, Managers and parents were present on this occasion to cheer up the skaters.
Later the same events took place for all the remaining age groups.

CBSE South Zone Skating Championship

               2013 – Flag-off Ceremony

The flag off ceremony took place at KLE Society’s Lingraj College Campus, Belagavi. Mr. Kiran Jadhav, the Chariman, Vimal Foundation was the Chief Guest for this function Mr. Umesh Kalghatgi, President BRCA, was present as a Guest of Honour. Mrs. Arti Mishra, Principal KLES’ International School, welcomed the guests. The function began with a beautiful welcome song and floral presentation to the esteemed guests. The CBSE flag was hoisted by

the dignitaries on the dais. The various participating schools from Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry took part in the March Past lead by the group of students from KLES’ International School, Belagavi and paid their salute to the guests. Later internationally recognized skater and Limca Book record holder Master Nishant Singh and National Skater Miss Prerana Bhat lit the torch and handed it over to the chief Guest. Mind-blowing Skating performances left the audience speechless. Bharat Patil performed stunts on a skate board whereas Master Nishant Singh demonstrated 180 degrees stretched skating. The startup of the Championship competitions was put on mark by the dignitaries releasing of the tri-color balloons and declaring the Championship open. The event began with Quad –Time Trial in Rink 1, for the age group of under- 19 separately for boys and girls followed by Rink 3 Inline – Time Trial also for boys and girls separately for the same age-group. Later these rounds were continued for other age groups as well. The entire event for day -1 went off smoothly.

KLE International School Belagavi is hosting, The CBSE SOUTH ZONE ROLLER SKATING CHAMPOIONSHIP 2013 for the second time. The event began with grand Inaugural Ceremony at JNMC lawns on 17th October 2013 at 6.00 pm. Mr. Vasanth Bharadwaj, Founder-Director TENVIC ,Bangalore the guest of honour encouraged all the participants and motivated them to play with a sportsman spirit x Dr Preeti Dodwad, Coordinator KLES’ English Medium School, graced the function and wished all the

participant good luck for the forthcoming competitions. Mrs. Arti Mishra Principal KLES International School Belagavi welcomed all the esteemed guests and also addressed the gathering. K.L.E Society’s Life Members graced the occasion with their presence. The Inauguration began with lighting of the lamp by all the esteemed guests, followed by Invocation prayer, cultural delight which included- Jugalbandi, Skating Dance, Semi classical fusion dance and Teachers Choir Song. All the skating officials were welcomed with floral presentations. All the esteemed guests released the Sky Lantern’s and declared the meet open. Over 1500 skaters from more than 400 schools of Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Pondicherry are participating in this event. The function concluded with inaugural dinner.

REGISTERATION FOR CBSE SOUTH ZONE           SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP BEGINS TODAY

The registration for the CBSE South Zone Skating Championship hosted by KLES’ International School begins today. All the skaters with their coaches and officials of participating schools from Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Pondicherry, stepped into the Lingaraj College Campus for the confirmation of their participation. All the staff members of KLES’ International School managed the task

with their various committees like, Reception, Registration, Accommodation, Food, Transport, Record, etc. All the schools were provided with requirements like accommodation, food, transport. The Inaugural Invitation scheduled on 17th Oct 2013 at 6:00pm at KLES’ JNMC Lawns was also given to the participating schools.

19 students from our school have been selected for the CBSE South Zone Skating Championship 2013 to be held from October 17th to October 20th 2013 More than 1500 students from more than 400 schools will be participating from Kerala, Tamilnadu, Andhrapradesh, Pondicherry and Karnataka in the 4 day Mega event.

We are extremely pleased to inform you that the CBSE has graciously entrusted the responsibility of hosting the south zone Skating Tournament from 18th October to 20th October 2013 in our institution. At the very outset, we solicit your earnest co-operation in organizing this tournament in the most fitting manner.

The Tournament will be held under 8, 10,12,14,16, & 19 categories Boys & Girls

•      All the participants with managers must report on 17th October 2013 by 4.00 pm.
•      Team managers meeting from 4.30 to 5.30 pm at School Auditorium.
•      18th Oct 2013 7.00 am to 8.00 am Breakfast.
•      Assembly 8.30 am to 9.00am
•      Inaugural function at 9.00 am
•      9.30 am Events will commence.
•      18th, 19th, and 20th October events according to schedule.
•      20th October Evening 4.00 pm valedictory function
•      20th October Evening 6.00 pm dispersal of all the participants.

 
     

 

Boarding and Lodging :

 
 

•      The boarding charges will be Rs.250/- per head per day including bedding charges.
•      The participating schools have to pay the boarding charges on the registration day.
•      Participants are expected to carry thin blankets, toiletries and other requirements.
•      Nutritious and delicious food will be served which will include Breakfast, Lunch, Evening tea, and dinner.
•      It is advised that from the health and safety point of view, all participating teams dine in the mess arranged by the Organizing school.

 
     
 

ELIGIBILITY :

 
 

The Player should be within the particular age group on 31st December of the year of competition.

(a)      Only bonafide students shall be eligible to participate in the Inter-School tournaments. Feeding any non bonafide student shall lead to disqualification of the team.
(b)      A student, who has failed twice in a particular class, shall no more be eligible to participate.
(c)      Incomplete information in any respect is liable for disqualification of team/Player.
(d)      Any violation in eligibility (over age or Impersonation) shall be dealt according to rules.
(e)      The original eligibility Performa of the Players/Teams qualifying to participate from Zone level to National level will have to be certified by the Organizing school at the Cluster/Zone level as the case may be and forwarded to the National Organizing School, immediately after their Zone level competition is over.
(f)      Medical check up may also be applied by the Jury of Appeal committee appointed by the Organizing school in the cases of overage suspicion.
(g)      A player shall be under 8; 10; 12; 14; 16 & 19 years of age on 31 Dec 2013.
1.      Under 08 years: Born on or after 01.01.2006
2.      Under 10 years: Born on or after 01.01.2004
3.      Under 12 years: Born on or after 01.01.2002
4.      Under 14 years: Born on or after 01.01.2000
5.      Under 16 years: Born on or after 01.01.1998
6.      Under 19 years: Born on or after 01.01.1995
(h)      All the supporting papers verifying the age of the player, etc in original, as per the CBSE Guidelines & Rules shall be carried personally by the Team Manager/Coach while reporting for participation.
(i)      The player’s right to participate forfeits if he/she fails to produce the papers supporting the eligibility in original on demand.
Any team not fulfilling the eligibility criteria before the commencement of the tournament/meet shall not be permitted to participate.

 
 

DISQUALIFICATIONS

 
 

A player/team may be disqualified/scratched for the following reasons.

 
 

1.       If the ineligibility of any member of the team is detected.
2.       Inclusion of non bonafide student in the team.
3.       Misbehavior on ground by athlete or accompanying official.
4.       Use of abusive language by athlete or accompanying official.
5.       Misbehavior with Officials/Opponents by athlete or accompanying official.
6.       Indiscipline at the place of stay by athlete or accompanying official.
7.       Damaging the school property.
8.       Indiscipline during the Opening and Closing ceremonies by athlete or accompanying official.
9.       Non participation in March Past.

1.       The competition will be conducted in the 125 mtrs bank track
2.       The championship will be held according to the RSFI (7rr) rules & regulations.
3.       From each school only one participant can participate in each event.
4.       A skater can take part in maximum two events in her/his age group.

6.       The skater taking part in Quads should wear the skates that should not have heels attached to the shoe & should not be high ankle.
7.       The skating costume should be skin tight.
8.       Helmet is compulsory.
9.       The wheels for speed skating is only to be used which are broader in size.
10.       The decision of the technical committee/referee shall be final.
11.       Any photograph/video clipping other than from official camera shall not be considered for any refernce.
12.       No protest will be entertained from parents.
13.       Protest if any, has to be submitted in writing by the designated team Coach/Manager, in writing, to the Chief Referee, within 15 min of the announcement of result. The decision of the Jury of Appeal shall be final.
14.       From each Zone, in each event, separately in Girls’ & Boys’ in different age categories, the first & second position winners will qualify to participate in the Nationals.

 
     
 

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

 
 

1.       For students/players studying in class XI & XII to provide class X certificate with photo issued by the board.
2.       Protest of any nature in connection with tournament shall be in writing and must reach the organzing secretary and CBSE observer with in one hour of the declaration of the result, duly accompanied by a fee of Rs.1000/- (Rupees one Thousand)
3.       Participants are requested not to bring valuable items such as jewellery mobile, Camera, Walkman, etc, The team manager will be held responsible for the safety of their belonging and the loss of the host school’s property.
4.       The participating school’s are requested to inform the exact date, time and mode of journey to enable the organizers to receive the teams from the railway station/bus station.
5.        The schools are requested to make their own arrangement’s for return journey reservations.
6.       The schools are requested to bring the latest photocopy of the sports affiliation fee paid to CBSE for the year 2013-14.
7.       A caution deposit of Rs .1000/- per team will be collected when they report on 17/10/2013 and the same will be refunded back provided there is no loss of property whenever the team is vacating our premises.
8.       The Teams must attend the March past with their school uniform and with the school Flag.
9.       If there is any accommodation requirement please intimate in the Entry format.
IMPORTANT: IT SHALL BE MANDATORY -
              (i) To provide the documents for verification in original if asked for.
              (ii) To supply the team photo with school Principal along with the entry Performa, countersigned
              by the concerned Principal.
              (iii) For student/player studying in class IX and above, to provide CBSE registration number.
Eligibility/Entry Performa:
Every school shall supply to the host school on arrival the signed copy of the eligibility Performa filled in online.

 
     
 

TRANSPORT:

 
 

The host school will provide free transport facility to all the teams at the time of arrival, departure & during the competition between the Railway Station/Bus Stand/Airport/Venue and the place of accommodation provided by the host school.

CBSE SOUTH ZONE ROLLER SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP 2011

 

Akshata Sawant of class VII & Prerana Bhat of IV secured 2nd position(silver medal) in the National level Skating competition from 15th november to18th november 2012 held at D.V.A School, Amritsar.

KLE International School Belagavi hosted, The CBSE SOUTH ZONE ROLLER SKATING CHAMPIONSHIP 2011, from 11th Oct to 14th Oct 2011 .Over 1000 people from 170 schools of Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Pondicherry participated in this event. This was the first time Belagavi had the honour of hosting such a mega event organized by our school. Inauguration was done by the Chief Guest Dr. EKROOP KAUR, IAS DC. Commissioner, Belagavi. Dr. PRABHAKAR KORE MP Rajya Sabha Dr. PREETI DODWAD Coordinator KLES’ English Medium School, Mrs. Arti Mishra Principal KLES International school Belagavi on 11 Oct 2011 At 6:30PM at the JNMC Lawns , Belagavi.

 

The event commenced with the flag off of the races at 8:30 AM on 12th Oct 2011 at KLE’ S International School , Skating Rink, Lingraj Campus Belagavi. The championship was in the categories of quad and inline. The races were conducted under different age groups in the form of Time trial race, Rink race and Road race.
