West India Goshin Ryu Karate Championship 2018
 
 

KLES’ International School, Belagavi has , once again proved its mettle by winning  laurels  and appreciation in the  karate championship. Goshin-Ryu Karate Federation Of India( Self Defence School of Indian Karate) had organized the  West India Goshin Ryu Karate Championship 2018 at Bethamy Convent School near Rahul Park Hotel, Kolkhe, Tal- Panvel, Dist- Raigad on  14th and 15th April, 2018. The list of meritorious students who were awarded  the medals and the certificates are as follows:

Master Krishna Irappanavar of class V  won the gold medal in ‘fight’ and ‘katta’ respectively.

Master Mehul Shah  of class IX  won the bronze  medal in ‘fight’ and ‘katta’ respectively.

Master Nikhil Wannur  of class V  won the silver  medal in’ figh’t and ‘bronze’ medal in katta.

Master Atharva Turmuri  of class V  won the bronze medal in ‘fight’ and ‘ katta’ respectively.

Master Kushagrah  Chindak  of class  X won the bronze  medal in ‘fight’ and ‘ katta’ respectively.

Inter School Chess Championship
 
 

 Master Parikshit  A. Rogannavar (class V D) of KLES’ International School, Belagavi has won laurels for the school by winning the  second prize in the Inter School Chess Championship, organized by the Rotary Club of Venugram,Belagavi,  held at Bhathkande School, Belagavi on 24th September,  2017. Master Parikshit  A. Rogannavar has also won the second prize  in Tarang-2017(IT-3 Level) which was conducted by Intellikidz Learning Pvt.Ltd. in  association with Narayan Hulamani Foundation  on 6th August, 2017 at Belagavi.

International Basket Ball Tournament
 
 

Pari and Aurum Sports Academy, Belagavi had organized an International Basket Ball Tournament on 14th February, 2018 at District Stadium, JNMC Campus, Nehru Nagar , Belagavi.

KLES’ International School, Belagavi, has secured the second place in which Miss. Nibha Porwal and Miss. Yanvi Porwal have been conferred with the titles of the  “Most Valuable  Player” and the “Best Defender.”

Swimmath 2018 ( National)
 
 

Master Mandar M. Desurkar of KLES’ International School has added one more feather to his cap by securing the third place in the open category( 5km) of the Swimmath 2018 ( National) which is none other than India’s Premier Open Water Swimming Championship. This event is recognized by the Swimming Federation Of India and was held at Colva Beach, Goa on 25th February, 2018. Master Mandar has been trained by his coach, Mr. Guruprasad Tangankar in all his endeavours.

Karate Achievements
 
 

The students of KLES’ International School, Belagavi were conferred the Yellow, Green, Orange and Blue Belts for achieving success in their Belt Grading Exams. Grand Master Narsimha from Chennai awarded the belts to the winners in this glittering felicitation function organized to appreciate and boost the morale of the achievers.

School coach, Mr. Madhu Patil was also applauded for his contribution in grooming the students and bringing out the best in them. The credit for enhancing the self-esteem and confidence of these students goes to Mr. Madhu Patil.

Keerthi Swimming Academy , Karwar had  organized the “1st Non –Medalist Swim Meet”  at Karwar on 10th February, 2017.  Rreeith Gupta  of Grade  VII D has secured the  First  Position in  the 100 mts. Backstroke .(Under group 2) (Performance 03.36.81 Seconds)

Master Heeth Porwal of class V A secured the second position in the Badminton event, (Doubles Under 13 category), at Belagavi KLE Sports Complex, organized by Jain Inter Trade Organization.

Master Sujal Fuldevare of class VII D was awarded the ‘Man of the Series,’ (Under 13) category, Organised by Rev. FR. PAT D-LIMA Tournament 2018, at St. Pauls School, Belagavi.

Master Lohit Acharya and Master Praveet Acharya secured the first position in the Table Tennis Team Event. In the singles, Master Lohit Acharya secured the second position and Master Praveet Acharya secured the first position in the Belgaum Premier League at Godase Memorial Hall. The Table Tennis Event was held on 27th and 28th December, 2017.

Swimming Achievement

The Jain International Trade Organization, Belagavi had organized the JITO GAMES, 2018 on 27th January, 2018 at KLE Sports Complex, Belagavi.

Mater Rishit Jain, an outstanding student of KLE International School, Belagavi, (class III B) secured the first place in four swimming events.He achieved success in Free Style, 50 mts, Butterfly Stroke, 50 mts, Back Stroke,50 mts and Breast Stroke,50 mts. and was the hero of the day.

Shuttle Badminton Tournament -2018

The Inter School Shuttle Badminton Tournament -2018 was organized by D Square and held at Smash  Sports Academy , Electronic City, Bangalore on 13th Jan 2018

Master Kshitij Bhat (category under-9 boys) won the 2nd prize in the Badminton Tournament.

School Flood Light Football Tournament
 

KLES’ International School is in the news once again for its ‘never say die’ attitude and  passion for victory. It was declared the champion in the 7-A Side Inter School Floodlight Boys Football Tournament held on 5th and 6th January, 2018 at Lingaraj Grounds, Belagavi.

The Interact Club of KLES’ International School, Belagavi which is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Belgaum District 3170 had organized the 7-A Side Inter School Floodlight Football Tournament.

Principal, Mrs. Deepti Ingley congratulated the winning team and urged the winners to dedicatedly strive for excellence in their game and work hard towards their goal.

 
The All India Sea Swimming Competition
 

The All India Sea Swimming Competition, 2018 (National) organized by Shree Ram Sea Swimming Club, Porbandar was held at Porbandar on 6th and 7th January , 2018.

 Master Mandar M. Desurkar of KLES’ International School, Belagavi secured the First place (Gold) in 10 kms (2 hrs 11 min 18 sec) and 5kms (59 min 48 sec) , respectively. Master Mandar broke the National record in 10 kms and 5 kms category and now holds the National record in Open Category. Master Mandar was mentored by his coach, Mr. Guruprasad Tangankar.

Goshin–ryu Karate Competition
 

Master Mehul Shah,( grade  8), of KLES’ International School, Belagavi,  has bagged the Bronze Medal in ‘fight’ in the  under 15 category and Master Pranav Bandwadekar, (Grade 8), has bagged the Bronze Medal in ‘kata’ in the under 15 category at Malaysia, Goshin–ryu Karate Competition.

The winners were guided by  their  experienced coach, Mr. Madhu Patil in their adventurous and thrilling win.

 
1st National Junior Open Water Swimming Championship 2017
 
 

The  1st National Junior Open Water Swimming Championship 2017, organized by Swimming  Federation of India and Karnataka Swimming Association  was held at Malpe beach, Udapi on 30th December, 2017.

Master Mandar M. Desurkar secured the 1st place in 5 Kms swim and received a cash prize .

He had represented the Karnataka state.

Mandar has the distinction of achieving a  hatrick by securing the gold medal, thrice,in the long distance Open Water Swimming.

Mandar was mentored by his coach, Mr. Guruprasad Tangankar.

Open Sea Swimming Competition and Beach Games 2017

The 8th State Level Open Sea Swimming Competition and Beach Games, 2017, organized by Sindhudurg District Aquatic Association was held at Chivla Beach, Malvan on 17th December, 2017.

Master Mandar M. Desurkar secured the 1st place (3km-Group III Boys) and won a gold medal and a cash prize of Rs. 3,000/- The time of completion was 0:24m:03s

He also was awarded a trophy for being the fastest swimmer. (Distance-3km)

Master Mandar was mentored by his coach, Mr. Guruprasad Tangankar.

Master Anish Pai secured the 8th place (500m- Special Group Boys) The time of completion was 09:12m:11s

All India Fide Rating Chess tournament
 
 
 

The All India Fide Rating Chess tournament, an internationally acclaimed chess competition , dedicated to  Late Shri Laxmikant V. Desai was organized by Ponda Taluka and  Goa  Chess Association. Master  Raees  Ahmed Khan of KLES’ International School, Belagavi, participated in this prestigious competition from 26thOctober,2017 to 29thOctober,2017 and secured the Best Unrated player winning the 4th position  out of 298 participants. By winning this tournament, he has been rated  1028 in the international scene.

The Maharashtra state Level Karate Tournament 2017 was held at Panvel ,Mumbai from 27th and 28th Oct 2017. 6 students of KLES’ International School participated in this event who were guided and accompanied by coach, Mr. Madhu Patil.

The winners are: Under 13 years- Master Omkar Pashupatti got 2nd place in Kumite (fight). Zion and Oman Syed got Bronze Medal in Kumite (fight), Under 14 years – Master Mehul Shah and Fazil Inamadar got silver medal .

The Principal congratulated the winners and wished them all the success in their forthcoming adventures.

 
Kolhapur Municipal Corporation ‘Mayor Chashak‘ 2017
 
 

Kolhapur Municipal Corporation had organized the State level ‘Mayor Chashak‘ swimming competition in collaboration with the Kolhapur Amateur Aquative Association and was held at Ambbai Jaltaran Talav on 18th and 19th November 2017. The following students won the prizes: Master Dravya Patel of class 6, secured the 3rd place in the 132m Back stroke and 132m Breast stroke-Group III Boys respectively and won a cash prize of Rs. 100/- Miss. Samiya Mense of Grade 6, won the 4X66m Medley Relay-Group III girls and secured the 1st position .

Kolhapur Mayor Trophy 2017
 
 

The Open Wate(Lake) swimming competition was organized by City Corporation Kolhapur ,Rankala Lake on 17th November 2017. Master Mandar Maruti Desurker, of class IX A, secured the 1st place in open category. He completed the 3Km swim in 19m:15sec at Rankala Lake and won a Gold Medal, Certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 3000/- Master Mandar was assisted in his remarkable feat by his coach, Guru Prasad Tangankar

The 13th All India Late Smt. Suhansini Ramesh Lotlikar swimming competition was organized by Lotlikar and Co. Ranaji on 11th November 2017.

The following students won the prizes:

Master Dravya Patel, of class 6, won the 50 m. freestyle ,  the 200m IM and 100m backstroke , and secured the 2nd place in the first two events and 1st place in the third event.

Miss. Samiya Mense of  Grade 6, won the 100m breaststroke, and secured the 2nd position .

Master Anish Pai,won 50 m. freestyle  and secured the 2nd place along with winning the 50m backstroke and secured the 3rd  position.

KLES’ International School won in the District and State Level Dusshera Swimming Competition

Belagavi District Dusshera Swimming Competition 2017-18 was held on 15th  and 16th September, 2017.Dravya S. Patel who participated in the 400 m event F/S won 3rd Place. 

Samiya A. Mense had participated in the following events and won accolades for the school: 200 m event B/R  - 1st Place, 100 m event F/S -  2nd Place, 200 m event I/M - 2nd Place, 400 m event F/S - 2nd Place, 100 m event B/K -  2nd Place, 100 m B/R -  1st  Place, 4X100 m event Medley Relay - 1st Pace and  4X100m event Relay -  1st Place. Belagavi State Dusshera Swimming Competition 2017-18 was  held on 21st to 24th September 2017. Samiya A. Mense who had participated in 4X100 m  event  F/S event Relay and  4X 100m event Medley Relay won 3rd Place in both the events.

The Grand Finale, of the Inter School Under 17, Football Tournament, 2017 (Sairaj Football Trophy) which was organized by Belgaum District Football Association , between  St. Paul’s  and KLE International, was held on  26th September, 2017 , at Lele Ground, Tilakwadi, Belgaum.

The runners up were KLE International School and it had a nail biting finish with both the teams performing exceptionally well.Our school team was guided by the coach, Mr. Yashodhara Jain.

 
CBSE South Zone Chess Competition
 
 

CBSE South  Zone Chess Competition was organized by Dattakala International CBSE School Swami Chinchali Dound Pune from 14th to 18th September,  2017. Out of 75 Schools, our School was ranked 22.The participants and their overall ranking is as follows:

Atharva Todkar, Grade 4 was ranked 117.

S.N. Bhakti,  Grade 7 was ranked 42.

Parikshit Roagannavar,  Grade 4 was ranked 115.

Raees Ahmed Khan,  Grade 6 was ranked 38.

CBSE South Zone Swimming  Achievement

CBSE South Zone Swimming Meet was organized at Swami Awadeshan Public  School, Kamptee , Nagpur from  18th to 20th  September 2017. Master Mandar Desurkar of Class IX secured the Third  place in the 200 mtrs Butterfly event (Under 17 category) under the guidance of coaches  Mr. Guruprasad Tanginkar and Mr. Umesh Kalgatki.  A total of 9 states participated in this mega event which witnessed overwhelming participation of 1500 swimmers.

Air  Gun Association of Indian affiliated to World Air Gun Federation and Ministry of Youth Affairs &  Sports,  Govt. of India had organized 3rd National Rifle Shooting Championship 2017.  Master Yash Patil of KLES’ International School secured the 2nd position in under 19 age group and open category held at Love Dale Central School, Belgaum on 26th & 27th Aug. 2017.  KLES’ International Co-ordinator Dr.Preeti Dodwad Kore,  Principal  Mrs. Dipti Ingley and Staff congratulated Master Yash Patil for his great achievement.

S.K.E  Society’s Sports Academy in Association with BDCA, Belagavi had organized the Sports Fest 2017-18 from  2nd August to 29th August 2017. KLE International School secured the second position in Chess Championship.

Golf Championship
 
 

Stay positive, work hard and make it happen!

Master Tarun K Shetty of Grade 10 participated in the Golf Championship on 21st August 2017,  hosted by Head Start Education Academy  and won the second place at Karnataka Golf Association, Bangalore. The tournament was played on the basis of 18 hole stable ford event. Around 116 children from 60 schools participated in this event. Principal, Mrs. Deepti Ingley congratulated Tarun on his outstanding victory.

KLES CBSE School Nippani had organized the Tenvic Cup-2017 in Table Tennis event in which KLES’ International School, did exceptionally well and won prizes in the following categories:

Under 14 Girls: Akakansha Charantimath (grade 6), Aditi C.S. (grade 6) and Diya Hatanuri (grade 6).

Under 14 Boys: Pravith Acharya (grade 5), Lohith Acharya (grade 6), Aman Dhadoti (grade6) and Pranav Chonnad (grade6).

These able children were trained by the experienced coaches, Mr. Raghavendra Raikar and Mr. Bhaurao Patil.

Inter School Chess Championship was organized by Rapid Chess Tournament in association with Bachikar’s Chess Academy, held at Belagavi on 30th July 2017 in which Miss. S.N.Bhakti won the 1st position with 5 points out of 6 rounds under the Group (VIII to X).

Master Vaibhav Kulkarni secured the 2nd position with 5 points out of 6 rounds under Group (V to VII).

The Maratha Yuvak Sangh, Belagavi had organized the 14th Inter school & Inter collegiate District Level swimming competition in association with ABBA sports club and Hind social/ sports club Belagavi, on 20th August, 2017.

The names of the winners are as follows:

Anish Pai ( Group V) of class II won the 2nd place in the 50 B/R and 50 F/S.

Samiya Mense ( Group III) of class VI won the 2nd,1st and 3rd places in the 50 F/S,50 B/R and 50 Fly respectively.

Dravya Patel ( Group III) of class VI won the 2nd place in the 100M and  3rd place in 50 B/K and 50 Fly Mandar Desurkar ( Group I) of class IX won the 3rd place in the 50 B/K and 50 F/S.

In the junior team (rally), the girls team : Ananya Pai, Maanvi Pai, Sarmishta Malai and Deeksha Kori won the 3rd place in group IV and VI.

In the junior team (rally), the boys  team : Ganesh Udadar, Shreevardhan Anglolkar, Rishikesh Tukkar and Anish Pai  won the 3rd place in group IV and VI.

The Belgaum Table Tennis Academy in collaboration with Belagavi District Table Tennis Association, conducted the Table Tennis Tournament at District coaching center Belagavi on 15th August 2017.

  • Kumari Akanksha Charantimath secured the Third place in Cadet Girls event.

The Yoga Federation of India, Panchakula, Haryana, had organized the 37th Karnataka State Yogasana Championship 2017 on 12th and 13th August 2017.

Category: Age group 8-11 yrs.

  • Kumari Gungun Patil secured the 1st Place

  •  Kumari Krushnali Kaktikar secured the 2nd Place.

They have been  selected for National Yoga Competition which will be held in the month of October at Ghaziabad. Also Kumari Nisha Badawanche secured the 5th Place in this event.

The 6th State School and College Yogasana Championship 2017 organised by Maithri Public Charitable Trust was held at Bellary District on 12 th August, 2017.  Our students won accolades by winning the coveted positions.

The National Level Karate Championship 2017 was held at Chinode, Madhya Pradesh from 28th to 30th July 2017. 
The dignitaries, Grand Master B. M Narasimhan, Malaysian Master Vasantan , Madhya Pradesh Master Thomer and Karnataka Master Madhu Patil graced the occasion.
6 students of KLES’ International School participated in this event who were guided and accompanied by coach, Mr. Madhu Patil. The winners are:

SDG Charitable Trust’s Sanjay Ghodawat International School had organized the Inter-State Inter-School Junior Sports Meet (Zest twenty Championship) at Jaisingpur on 15th July 2017 in which Miss. Samiya Mense of grade 6 secured the 1st position in 50mts Breast Stroke and  25mts Butterfly stroke respectively and the 2nd position in 50mts Freestyle. Principal Dipti Ingley, Management and staff congratulated Samiya on her fantabulous achievement.

The Belgaum Table Tennis Academy and Belagavi District Table Tennis Association conducted the District Level Table Tennis competition on 9th July 2017 at BDTTA Coaching Centre. Our students Master Pravith Acharya and Master Lohith Acharya secured the  1st and the  2nd positions respectively in cadet boys group and were awarded a cash prize of Rs. 250 and Rs.150.

Students of KLEIS’ won the World Yoga Championship 2017 – China

KLES’ International School, Belagavi was an active participant in the 6th International Yoga Championship which was held in Shenzhen, China  from 23rd to 25th June 2017. The participants were Ms.Krishnali Kaktiker Grade 4, Ms. Spoorthi Koujalagi Grade 9 and Master Ved Koujalagi Grade 5, who had already participated in Nationals.

7 countries had participated in the mega event, which had 250 competitors. There were 80 participants from India and 32 from Karnataka.

Ms. Spoorti Koujalagi (below 15), secured the IV place and was trained by the yoga coaches Mrs. Arati Sankeshwari and Miss Ashwini Naik.

The Principal Ms.Dipti Ingley congratulated Ms. Spoorti Koujalagi on her spectacular performance!!

On the occasion of International Yoga Day,  Mr. Anil S. Benake, had organized Grand Yoga Competition on 17th June 2017 in which 14 students participated from KLES’ International School, Belagavi out of which five students received prizes in various categories.

             Girls/Boys (Group 6-10)

1)    Ms. Nisha Badawanache secured  2nd Place, won cash prize of Rs. 2000, Certificate and Memento.

2)    Ms. Gungun Patil  secured 3rd Place,  won cash prize of Rs. 1500, Certificate and Memento.

3)    Master Ved Koujalagi secured 1st Place,  won cash prize of Rs. 2500, Certificate and Memento.

Raees Ahmed Khan excels in Chess

KLE International School’s chess champion, Master Raees Ahmed Khan from Grade VI had participated in the Golden Square Chess competition organized by Mr. Prashant P. Anvekar held at Belagavi on 11th June 2017.  He secured the second position in the under 13 age group (Boys).

    Dharwad District Chess Association and Rotary Club of Hubli North Open Chess Tournament had organised the Open Chess Tournament  (under 13) on 25th June 2017, in which Raees Ahmed Khan, secured the   1st Place.

  He also secured the  1st Place at the Chess Tournament organised by the  Open Rapid Chess Tournament  Dharwad, on 16th July 2017.

KLEIS bags First Place in Inter School March Past Competition

   
   

Rotary Club of Belgaum Central had organized an Inter-School March-past and Band-set competition on Sunday 22nd Jan. 2017 to promote the spirit of Patriotism and Discipline in the youth, of the city. The march started from Gomatesh Vidyapeeth Circle and ended at GSS College ground. Our school has secured First Award in March- Past Competition. Round about 17 schools participated in this event.

Bronze medal in Karate Fight by Khushagra Chindak at 42nd GOSHIN – RYU Annual Training Camp and Championship 2016. The participant being of grade 8 clinched Bronze in (karate kumite), Pranav Bandiwadekar secured 4th place in Kata of grade 7 .We congratulate our students for their performance, and look forward to a bright future! We are also proud and glad for our Coach Madhu Patil for securing V’DAN Black Belt Malaysian Degree.

The KLE INTERNATIONAL team represented India for the first time for the 42nd GOSHIN – RYU Annual Training Camp and Championship 2016 that took place in Malaysia leaving a great footprint for the beginning of our quest! This mega event was organized by Goshin-Ryu Kuala Lumpur Malaysia from 19th to 22nd Dec. 2016. The competition counted with 700 registrations, and included people from Srilanka, Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore.

 
   

“SHATAM”

 

 

From 13th Nov. to 19th Nov. 2016, KLE Society, Belagavi celebrated its 100 years of service to people in the region and beyond. As part of the commemorations of this momentous occasion, the schools, colleges and other institutions of KLE participated in ‘SHATAM’, a series of cultural and sporting events that incorporate a myriad of human skills and expression. Our students and staff participated in Flash Mob, Swacch Bharat and Rally.

It incorporates the elements of Nritya (Dance), Krida (Play), Natya (Drama) and Kala Kriti (Creativity), participated by thousands of students and staff members of the KLE Family.

We also enthusiastically participated and won accolades in several events put up for staff and students. Events beginning with Flood Light Football for Male staff and students, Graffiti, Face Painting, Table Tennis, Badminton, Tug of  War for staff and students, Street Play, Photography, Rangoli for Staff and student,  Poster making, Calligraphy, Group Dance competition for staff and students.

In the sports event - Football our student’s team won Gold. The participants were - Siddhant Neelgoudar, Musharaff Choudhary, Sohan Sobarad, Prathmesh Chaudargi, Rahul Patil, Harsh Desai, Omkar Rupchandani, Chirag Rupchandani, Juneed Choudhary, Pranav Niranjan.

In the sports event - Table Tennis our student’s team won Bronze. The participants were Aditi C.S, Pravith Acharya, Lohith Acharya,  Rohan Taragar and Tanishq Kugaji.

In the sports event - Badminton KLE International School won Gold. The team comprised of Sakshi Hanji, Mrinal Humbarwadi, Yash Patil and Om Yelligar.

In the sports event  -Tug of  War (boys) our school bagged Silver  medal and the participants were Hamza Killedar, Vansh Bennalkar, Naren Misale, Anish Bhatkande, Junaid C, Goudapgouda Dyamangoudar, Sufian Maniyar, Vrishabh Kolhapure, Vipul Tarale.

In the sports event -Tug of War (Girls) our school bagged Gold medal and the participants were Supriya Gouraj, Manasi Rajput, Disha M, Impana Naglothimath, Prapthi Patil, Pratiksha Jiddi, Mrinal Humarwadi, Shradha Goswami, Shrishti Kognule.

In the sports event - Throwball for Staff KLE International School won Silver. The team comprised of the teachers Ms. Sarojini,   Shashi G Mangalwedhe, Mainsha Kadolkar, Seema Jalgar, Vijaya Jadhav, Sameera Fernandes, Gayatri Suryavanshi, Treza A Furtado, and Suchitra Kurne.

Master Raees Ahmed Khan  from std V and Master Ankit Dhadoti  ranked 7th under grade VIII to X group and both received a cheque  of 200 rupees. School is proud of their achievement.

Karate is a defensive form of martial art which is practiced to increase ones mental and physical strength. 8th Goshin – Ryu National Karate Championship-2016 Organized by Goshin – Ryu Karate association of Karnataka was held from 26th to 28th August 2016 at Mangalore. 8 students of KLES’ International School participated in this event, Madhu Patil Karate coach accompanied the students. Master Pranav Bandiwadekar and Master Kushagra Chindak will be representing our school at International level which will be held in Malaysia in the month of December.  Prerana Bhat of Class VII B participated in the 31st Skating Championship conducted by Karnataka Roller Skating Association ( KRSA) from 30th Oct. to 1st Nov. at Bangalore. She bagged Silver Medal in the 300 mtrs. Time trial Inline Event and was qualified for Roller Skating Federation of India (RSFI) to be conducted in the month of Jan. at Pune.
She also participated in the CBSE South Zone Skating Competition held at D.R.S International school, Hyderabad from 5th Nov. to 8th Nov. and bagged second place in the 300 mtrs. Time trail (Inline).

 THE KLE CENTENARY CUP State Level Inter-School Sports Meet was Organised by Tenvic to commemorate   the Centenary year of KLE Society, headed by Rajya Sabha member Prabhakar Kore and Former India Cricket Team Captain Anil Kumble, from 5th to 8th January 2016. Sports Meet was a first of its kind initiative to provide children across nearly 80 schools in Karnataka a platform to demonstrate their talent and proficiency across 6 sporting disciplines.

 The KLE Centenary Cup was  held across Karnataka – in Bangalore/ Mysore, Belgaum, Hubli/ Dharwad and Gulbarga/ Sholapur and in two stages – preliminary rounds and finals.Ms. Spoorti Kotian and Rashmi Vibhuti of KLE International School  won the Winners Trophy in Table Tennis under 16 . Former India Cricket Team Captain Anil Kumble gave away the prizes.  Dr.Prabhakar Kore Dr.Pretti Dodwad were present. CTE Society’s International Public school, Chikodi had organized CTEIPS PREMIER LEAGUE ON 12TH AND 13TH SEPTEMBER 2015 in which our school KLES’ International, Belagavi won the 1st place among 12 schools that had participated. The participators from our school were Master Chinmay Hebbale, Anshul Sonwalkar , Chirag Roopchandani, Om Rajput,Iresh Kotabagi, Prajwal Sukhare, Shanshank Malagi, Om Ropchandani, Ishan Porwal, Harsh Bang , Anish Bang and Chetan Gudappagol. Master Chetan Gudappagol was also awarded as the ‘BEST CAPTAIN’ and Mr.Prashant Laindar had been awarded as the ‘ BEST COACH’.

 
   

World Record in  SKATING RELAY MARATHON 2015

 
   

 
   

Priyal Ajay Bang, studying in "KLE'S INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL grade 2nd C" has made an outstanding contibution  in  SKATING RELAY MARATHON at Shivganga Roller Skating Academy, Belagavi. The group which involved 350 skaters, from all over India skated continuously, day and night for a whopping 121 hrs breaking previous world record of 100 hrs. Inspite of heavy rain and hot summer, she was very charged and full of energy to achieve this glorious feat. Priyal Bang was felicitated by Hon Sports Minister of Karnataka Shri Y. Jain. The record is acknowledged by "INDIA BOOK OF RECORDS" , "ASIA BOOK OF RECORDS" "WORLD RECORDS INDIA" & "UNIQUE WORLD RECORDS"

          Inter KLE School Athletic Meet 2014-15 was held recently at Valmiki Ground Gokak Organized by K.L.E Mahadevappanna Munavalli School Gokak .            The IndoSrilanka International Karate Tournament held on 14 to 16th of November 2014 in Goa. Master Rushil Dorkade won 4 rounds and bagged a Bronze medal. Refree Mr. Madhu Patil was awarded a memento as a senior refree.

 
   

 
   

                In the Inter State swimming Competition organized by Rotary Club of Ichalkaranji held on 9th Nov Dravya Patel won Ist place in Backstroke group IV and IInd place in 50 mts Butterfly group IV.
               In the Inter School Sports meet organized on 12th and 13th of Nov by Jain Heritage School Belagavi,Dravya Patel won IInd place in the swimming Backstroke and IIIrd place in the Swim Free Style, Miss Sayoni Kumar won Ist place in Swimming Brack strok , Mandar Desurkar won Ist place, Aryan Nayak won III place in Table Tennis and Soujanya Pujari won the IV place in Yoga competition respectively.

               Inter School Swimming Competition in Association with Abba Sports Club and Hind Social and Sports Club, Belagavi organized 11th Inter School Swimming Competition held at Belagavi on 24th August 2014 In the category III Mandar Desurkar won Third place in 50Mts Back stroke. Second place in 50 Mts Back Stroke and Third place in 100 Mts I.M Miss Vaishnavi Ganachari won III place in 50 Mts Butterfly. In Group IV Miss Samiya Mense won Third place in 50 Mts Breast Stroke. Karate National Championship 2014-15

The students of KLE’S INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL Belagavi participated in the Karate Championship held at Bangalore were in states like Kerala, Maharashtra, Goa, Tamilnadu ,Karnataka participated on 19th and 20th July 2014.The students who won the prizes under  the age12-14 years are- Aditya Charantimath won gold medal and second prize  in Kata event Anish Bhatkande got the third place in Kata event and third place in Kumti event.

In Junior group Kushagra Chandak won bronze medal for Kata event. Rushil Dorkade won second place trophy for Kata event, Kunal Chodnad won Bronze medal for Kumta event., Master Madhu Patil International player and karate coach was the trainee. Principal Arti Mishra congratulated the prize winners.

 

National Level Yoga Competition 2014, held at Bangalore
 


 

Students of KLE International School Belagavi participated in National Level Yoga Competition 2014, held at Bangalore recently.
Miss. Soujanya Poojari of IV class stood First in the Junior Category ,Miss. Gouri A Ammangi stood third in position.
In the senior category Girls- Miss. Prerna Bhat received the second position and Boys Category- Kartik Mullur stood third in place. Miss. Ashwini Nayak, Yoga teacher got the IV place. Refree- Mrs. Arti Sankeshwari was present.

Sahil Landge of the X std participated in the CBSE cluster VII Athletics Meet 2012-13 on the 22nd &23rd October . Sahil Landge Secured the IInd place with a leap of 5.12mtr and qualified for the National level to be held at Chennai on 24th December He competed with 85 Participants.

 

Nishant Singh of class V performed 92 km “Stretched Skating ” at the KLE Society Skating rink at Lingaraj College Campus in Belagavi on May 28,2012 and made a National Record by covering the distance in 48 min 35 Sec 80 Micro second. He is now recognized in the Limca Book of records & RHR (Record Holders Republic).

 

Siddharth L of Class VI won the 3rd place in the Zee Kannada Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs. He was awarded with a Cash prize of Rs.10,000, two trophies and a certificate. He was selected in the finals directly after the 11th round. His talent is being appreciated and applauded by all the school fraternity.

 

A team of 34 students participated in the Inter School KLES CBSE sports Meet 2012-13 organized by CBSE School Nippani on the 2nd & 3rd November 2012. 18 Schools participated in the event with more than 1500 participants. The General Championship was awarded to the KLES International School with 87 points. The results being as follows.

 

Prasad Mahajan of Class VIII won the fastest runner. In another skating event Akshata Sawant of class VII & Prerana Bhat of IV have been selected for the National level Skating competition to be held at Amritsar.

 

5th National Karate Tournament

The KLES International School students participated in the 5th National Karate Tournament held in Goa. 500 students from 10 states participated in the event. All the 7 students who participated in the Under 14 Karate tournament won medals and brought laurels to the School.

 

Anish Bhatkande of V class won a Gold and Bronze medal. Shekhar Mishra of VII class won a Silver and Bronze Medal, Aditya Charantimath of V class won a Silver & Bronze Medal, Gaurang Mohta of VII, Matin Jamadar of VII , Sujal Raibagi of IV, and Kunal Chonnad of IV won Bronze Medals. All these medals were won in Kata and Kumate events. They were all trained under the able guidance of Coach Mr. Madhu Patil.

 

The Principal Mrs. Arti Mishra encouraged the students to come forward and participate in huge numbers in extra curricular activities.

 

INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION FOR KLES’ INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL YOGA TEAM

The Yoga team of KLES International School participated in the 2nd Continental Yogasana and Title Championship 2012 held at Singapore, on 13th & 14th October 2012. 200 children from over 5 countries participated, each team had a participation of 3 members each. The triumphant team returned with Master Nishant Singh bagging 3 Gold medals in three categories

I) 6 asanas II) Three front bending and back bending asanas III) difficult posture asanas.

Miss. Prerana Bhat also bagged 3 Gold Medals in the in the same category. They were both honored with mementoes. Both were trained under the able guidance of Mrs. Arti Sankeshwari. The KLE International School team was honored with the trophy for the best team performance.

 

Mrs. Arti Sankeshwari, the yoga coach also bagged 3 Gold medals under the age group of 30 to 35 years for the same categories. The KLE Society’s English Medium Schools Co-ordinator Dr. Preeti Doddwad and the Principal Mrs Arti Mishra congratulated the team on their achievement . The students of the KLES International School, Belagavi participated in two separate chess tournaments and emerged out successfully by securing the following positions. Ankit Dhadoti secured the second place in the under 10(age group) category,Aman Ahmed won the 1st position under 12 age group. Yogesh Maniyar secured the 1st place in the under 14 age group. The students competed in The Late Chaitra Uday Nadgouda Memorial Belagavi Open Chess Tournament. (Held on 15th & 16th December 2012).
In another chess tournament organized by Lions and Lioness club held on 21st & 22nd November Rais Ahmed Khan won the Best youngest player title. Arsh Ahmed won the 1st place & Swastik. Naik won the 4th place. Aman Ahmed secured the 3rd place.
The Principal Mrs. Arti Mishra congratulated the winners and encouraged the other students to come foward in large numbers and compete in future not only to bring laurels to the school but to the state and the nation as well .

Nishant Singh bagged the Gold & Silver Medal under the age group 8-12 years. Prerana Bhatt secured Gold& Silver Medal in the same category.
