To commemorate 'Kargil Vijay Diwas,' we had the privilege of honouring our NCC Commanding Officer Col. S. Darshan, Admin Officer Col. Shankar Yadav, Subedar Major Kallappa Patil, and the PI staff of 26 Kar Bn NCC from Jadhav Nagar, Belagavi.
The 2024-25 NCC enrollment at KLES' International School was conducted by the 26 Karnataka Battalion, Jadhav Nagar, Belagavi. From our school, 40 boys and 29 girls participated, along with 4 boys and 2 girls from KLE School, Lingaraj campus.
NCC students from KLES' International School, Belagavi, including 7 JD (Boys), 10 JW (Girls), and 1 ANO, attended the CATC (Combined Annual Training Camp) from June 24 to July 3, 2024, at 26 Kar Bn NCC, Jadhav Nagar, Belagavi. The cadets enjoyed the camp thoroughly, completed it successfully, and received certificates. The camp included activities such as firing, drill, visits to MLIRC and the commando wing, various lectures, and cultural programs.

On June 5th, 2024, in celebration of World Environment Day, the 26 KAR BN NCC conducted a plantation drive at KLES' International School in Belagavi.
NCC Cadets actively participated in a Tree Plantation Initiative alongside the Green Saviours Association, contributing to the greening efforts at the Golf Course on December 17, 2023.
On the 22nd of November, 2023, the 26 KAR BN NCC organized a commemorative event at KLES' International School in Belagavi. The event included a diverse set of engaging activities, including tree planting, essay writing, and drawing competitions, all designed to mark and celebrate NCC Day.
On 26th July, on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas, we paid tribute to the courageous soldiers of our country who achieved a magnificent victory against the enemy in the Kargil War. In recognition of their exceptional service, Colonel S. Darshan, Admin Officer Colonel Shankar Yadav, and Subedar Major Nilesh Desai were felicitated by ANO Amrutagouda SM. The Principal and Staff of KLES' International School conveyed their heartfelt appreciation through a congratulatory letter and sweet treats.
The NCC routine parade was conducted at KLES' International School, Belagavi on 2nd November 2022. All the cadets participated enthusiastically. (Troop No - 161/JDTP).
The Class IX students attended the CATC (Combined Annual Training Camp) camp from 13th to 20th October 2022 at 26 Kar Bn NCC, Jadhav Nagar, Belagavi.

The NCC troop (161/ᴊᴅᴛᴩ) of KLES' International School, Belagavi conducted the Essay competition and Shramadan as part of Swachhta Abhiyan Initiative on account of Teacher's Day celebrations.
The NCC cadets visited Smt Chinnamma B Hiremath, old age home, Basavana Kudachi, Belagavi and offered their services through donations in the form of food and other valuable items of daily use and making it a worthwhile visit by spending quality time with the residents.
India marks 23 years of triumph over the Kargil War fought against Pakistan, this year. On July 26, 1999, the gallant Indian soldiers recaptured several mountains, perched at high altitudes in the Himalayas, that were invaded by the Pakistani intruders in Kashmir. This day celebrates the victory and sacrifices of our soldiers. The NCC unit of KLES' International School Belgaum, commemorated the valiant soldiers and paid tribute to our glorious victory by participating in various competitions showcasing Patriotism, Discipline and Brotherhood.
NCC Enrollment for the academic session 2022-2023 was conducted at KLES' International School, Belagavi on 18th June 2022, which saw a participation of 51 students. NCC officials presided over the selection procedure.
Cadet Shamant Mathad of KLES' International School, Belagavi, has been selected the BEST CADET for the year 2021(among 12 NCC units) and is eligible for a scholarship of Rs 4500. Commanding Officer Col Rajeev Kajhuria, 26 Karnataka Battalion, Belagavi(Karnataka and Goa Directorate) appreciated Shamant's hardwork and awarded him the cash prize. The Management, Principal and Staff of KLESIS, are extremely proud of Shamant's achievement and have congratulated him for his hard earned success.
The 2019-20 NCC troop of KLES' International School, Belagavi was awarded the Certificate A by Principal, Mrs. Dipti Ingley for their successful completion of the 2-year long service to the Indian Armed Forces which comprised of activities to implement Swachata Abhiyan, Vanamahotsav, pay tribute to the martyrs on Kargil Vijay Divas etc.
The awardees were thankful for all the support and guidance provided by the Principal, the ANO, Mr. Amrutgouda S. Mudakanagoudar and the unit of 26 KAR BN NCC ( Troop No-101/ JD).

The National Cadet Corps enrollment for the academic session 2021-22 was held on 15th of September 2021 at KLES' International School, Belagavi. 58 students from class VIII had registered for the training programme out of which the lucky winners will be selected based on their mental ability and physical endurance. The selection procedure included a good academic performance in class VII, physical fitness, appropriate height and weight, drill, running and a written exam. This 2-year certificate NCC training course aims at the all round development of an individual.
The 26 KAR BN staff , Naib Subedar Brijlal Sharma ,CHM Ajay Agare and CHM Jaykesh Yadav had graced the occasion , not only to motivate the children but also to rate them during the selection procedure.
Akshata’s mantra for success-Conquer with Courage and Conviction!!!
Ms. Akshata Salunke, a student of the 2020-2021 batch of class 10 has represented KLES' International School, Belagavi, at the RDCIII Kit camp as an NCC cadet. Starting from Oct’19 to Dec’19, she has excelled in all 10 camps and reached RDCIII. She joined NCC when she was in class 8 and from then on, there was no turning back.
As the best cadet, Akshata has showcased her extraordinary skills in various activities like a drill, march past, firing, extempore speech, group discussions, and faced interviews in each camp with her senior officers. She has also interacted with many Junior and Senior Wing Cadets across Karnataka and Goa which has taught her leadership skills. Akshata is of the firm opinion that NCC has transformed her life for the better in more ways than one and now she is a better version of herself. She has inculcated a disciplined way of life along with a great sense of gratitude and a treasure trove of memories, dating right from the first day of joining as an NCC cadet. Facing challenges and stepping out of the comfort zone comes easily to Akshata. She urges the younger generation to join NCC and make a desirable change not only in one’s life but in others too. Akshata has expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Principal, Mrs. Dipti Ingley, Troop Commander, Mr. Amrut, and all the teachers for their consistent support and encouragement throughout all her camps. Her training officers at the 26 KAR battalion have also played a significant role in her success at each camp.

The day's events unfolded a plethora of well-planned events portraying the immense benefits of the various aspects of yoga for a calm and composed mind and a flexible and fit body.
The school NCC cadet's celebrated the 'World Environment Day-2021' by participating in tree plantation drives, essay writing and painting to sensitize one and all about the necessity of a clean and green world.
‘Fit India Mission’ !!! To strengthen the vision of our honorable prime Minister, and to create the dream of fit India into reality the NCC cadets of KLES’ International School, Belagavi, participated in the fit India 2 km ‘Plog Run’ by giving tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, guided by their leader Amrut Sir .

KLES’ International School, Belagavi honoured the Kargil war heroes with its NCC unit taking the lead in commemorating the sacrifices of the martyrs and upholding the spirit of patriotism.
The School NCC unit- 26 KAR BN NCC ( Troop No-101/ JD) paid rich tributes to the contributions of armed forces on Kargil Vijay Diwas ( 26th July 2020) which is named after Operation Vijay. On this date in 1999, India successfully took command of the high outposts which had been lost to Pakistan.
A multitude of activities on composing poems, designing patriotic posters, and paintings by the cadets was conducted online and shared on various social media tools to generate awareness in the community. A webinar on Kargil Vijay Diwas was conducted by T/O Mr. Amrutgouda (ANO) which began with the pledge and then was followed by videos on Kargil war, National War Memorial and the PVC awardees. The webinar lasted for an hour and concluded with the NCC song.
The NCC KLES’ International School, unit had participated in the Best International Day of Yoga(IDY) video competition(1min) to commemorate the International Day of Yoga on 21st June. A few snippets from this virtual extravaganza are posted below.

As a part of Swachh Bharat Abhiyan , NCC cadets had been to Kamal Basti for Shramdaan; organised a rally to spread awareness on 'Drug Abuse' and conducted an essay writing competition, guided by CTO Mr. Amrutgouda S Mudakanagoudar.
Miss Akshata Salunke of KLES' International School, Belagavi from class IX , attended the Pre-RDC-1 held at Bengaluru from 15th November, 2019 to 24th November,2019. Akshata was guided by CTO Mr. Amrutgouda S. Mudakanagoudar in the Pre-RDC-1 and she is all geared up to participate at the next level, for the selection in the Republic Day Parade.

The students of KLES' International School, Belagavi NCC unit, Miss Akshata Salunke and Master Atharv Bhujannavar of Grade 9 were selected for NCC Inter Group Competition at Bengaluru from 1st to 10th November, 2019. Both the students had performed well in (Republic Day Camp) RDC-1, RDC-II, RDC-III.
KLES' International NCC cadets(JD and JW) attended CATC-V camp at Jadhav Nagar, Belagavi from 2nd to 11th August, 2019.
The cadets are Master Amogh Nayak, Master Krishnagouda Patil, Master Samarth Pyati, Master Stavan Mohire, Master Vedang Joshi, Master Zaid Mokashi, Miss Saanvi Kittur, Miss Bhoomi Jaiswal, Miss Sanskritu Patil and Master Redekar.

KLES' International School NCC unit attended the ATC-III Camp, which was conducted at 26, Kar Bn NCC,Jadhav Nagar, Belagavi from 1st June to 10th June 2019.
Camp training is the practical manifestation of institutional training. The basic aim of these camps is to introduce cadets to a regimented way of life and it helps in developing camaraderie, team work, leadership qualities, self-confidence, self-reliance and dignity of labour in the cadets. The cadets are exposed to the excitement of camp life where they apply the theoretical knowledge that they had gained in Institutional Training.
The camp was held under the aegis of respective NCC Directorates.
12 students participated in this intriguing camp which included drill, tree plantation drive, yoga, meditation, team events, weapon drill and firing competition, quizzes, outdoor games, march past, traffic awareness programme, Swacchata Abhiyan, visit to MLIRC and JL Commando Wing and cultural events.

The students were assisted by Mr. Amrutgouda S Mudakanagoudar, who was their caretaker for the 10-days camp.

Miss Kadambari Gajanan Pilankar (Grade 9) of KLES' International School, Belagavi had attended RDC -1 Hubbli, RDC II Belagavi, RDC III Belagvi and IGC at Christ University, Bengaluru.
Award achieved : Best Cadet, Best Speaker and Best Dancer.
Kadambari is the first girl from our school to attend the Republic Day Camp at IGC Bengaluru. She has been appreciated for her painstaking efforts.
Miss Kadambari Pilankar, of KLES' International School, Belagavi has made all of us proud by being selected for the 2nd round RD parade. She attended the RDC I Camp at APMC Hubbali from 26th September 2018 to 5th October 2018.

The NCC Camp CATC/ TSC was held at Jadhav Nagar from 29th June, 2018 to 8th July, 2018.
Master Priyanshu Porwal was selected for TSC ,3rd camp. The NCC cadets are being trained under the expert guidance and supervision of the NCC officer , Ms. Reshma Hanabaratti
KLES’ International School, Belagavi proudly acknowledges the achievement of Ms. Reshma Hanabarrati for the successful completion of PRCN course; Pre-commission training for Lady ANO( Associate NCC Officer) at OTA, Gwalior from January,2018 to April, 2018. It is a premier women officer training institution and the course includes physical training, weapon training, map reading, theory class, drill and games.
