The month of November witnessed an engaging Intra-School Chess Competition at KLES' International School, Belagavi, bringing together young strategists from grades 1 to 10 to showcase their skills in the game of intellect and patience.

The KLE Cup took place on the 18th and 19th of October 2024 at KLES’ International School, Belagavi, featuring participation from KLE Gokak School, KLE School Saundatti, KLE Lingaraj School, KLE School Solapur, and our own KLES International School.

The event showcased exhilarating competitions, with athletics on the 18th, followed by kabaddi, kho-kho, football, basketball, and table tennis on the 19th. We are thrilled to share that our football teams (both boys and girls), the boys' basketball team, and the table tennis team have all qualified for the Inter KLE State Level Tournament.

Intramural Cricket played for recreation and rejuvenating oneself from the routine schedule of college academics was organised (5 overs) for classes XI & XII on 22nd June 2024.

Class XI boys won the match by 8 runs and in the girls match Team-A won by 6 runs.

KLESIS Annual Sports Day!

The much-anticipated Annual Sports Day unfolded with grandeur and enthusiasm at KLES' International School, Belagavi on December 20, 2023.

The event commenced with the arrival of our esteemed Chief Guest, Wing Commander Yuvena Fernandes and Paralympics champion Shrikant Desai.

Chief Guest Wing Commander Yuvena Fernandes delivered an impactful speech, motivating everyone present.

Mr Shrikant Desai narrated his life experiences which emphasized the need to be resilient in life. The Torch and Oath Ceremonies heightened the sense of camaraderie, symbolizing the spirit of fair play.

The crowning moment arrived with the Prize Distribution, where winners were applauded for their dedication and achievements. In conclusion, the Annual Sports Day was a celebration of athleticism, teamwork, and sportsmanship, leaving a lasting impression on the entire school community.

The College Sports Meet

The Sports Day at KLES' International School, Belagavi was celebrated enthusiastically by the students of class 11 and 12 at Nehru Stadium on 2nd December 2023. Swimming and track events along with activities like long jump and shot put, made it an exciting and memorable day for all the participants involved.

The Annual Sports Day for classes 11 and 12, was conducted on 25th and 28th February 2022, amidst a great display of sportsman spirit, leadership qualities and an enviable teamwork which impressed one and all. The students participated with striking enthusiasm and a remarkable vigour that showcased their sporting talents. The following competitions were organized between the two classes both in team events and individual events in the indoor and the outdoor category.

Outdoor games: The Basketball match witnessed an electrifying finish with the class 12 being adjudged the winners. The winning teams Captain, Master Gurdev Singh, left no stone unturned in scoring the points for his team. The Captain of the Runner up team was Master Abhinav Pandey. Class 12 again emerged victorious in the Cricket match. The teams sparkled with a spectacular show of great shots and splendid fielding led by the Captains Master Arjav Tyagi( class 12) and Master Ayush Yaligar (class 11)

The Football match witnessed impressive goals by the winning team (Class 11) and the class 11 boys fought ferociously to maintain their lead throughout the game.

The Sports Day was a welcome change, a great energizer and a stress buste, after a hectic academic session of tests, activities and projects. The students along with their teachers had a fabulous time on the playground.

Annual Sports Meet 2017
It was a lovely morning to reminisce about. KLES’ International School, Belagavi had a lot to offer in terms of the competitive spirit and leadership values.

Since the past few days, the school had witnessed a flurry of activity, with the Principal, teachers and the children, engaging themselves, at their level best, preparing for the Annual Sports Meet, 2017.

The morning dawned with the school adorning the familiar, systematic and disciplined fervor and showcasing true sportsman spirit.

The memorable Sports Meet began with the welcoming of the honourable chief guest, DCP,Seema Latkar, our beloved coordinator, Dr. Preeti Doddwad and the esteemed Principal of KLES’ School, Belagavi, Mrs. Shilpa Sunder Raj with floral tributes. The ceremonial ‘Lighting of the Lamp’ and the traditional ‘Flag hoisting,’ followed soon after.

The March Past was a sight to behold with each house outshining the other in their respective parades. The winner was the Topaz House which was at its best and naturally deserved to win. The Welcome song, The Aerobic Dance and Yoga Display each showcased the exquisite talent of the young children.

The honourable chief guest, DCP,Seema Latkar, had a strong message for the teachers as well as the parents when she elaborated on, not over burdening today’s young generation and letting them evolve in a stress free environment.

The Karate Display, the Torch Ceremony by our accomplished torch bearers(Master Om Rupchandani, Master Mandar Desurkar, Miss Samiya Mense, Master Lohit Acharya and Miss Prerana Bhat), the Oath Taking and the ‘Declaration of the Sports Meet Open’ were truly memorable events and would be remembered for a long long time.

The Lezim and the Table Tennis Display were remarkable events and deserve a special mention here.

The Sports events saw the athletes competing with high spirits and demonstrating their best sportsman spirit.

The parents and the teachers played against each other in the popular ‘ Tug-of-War. ’The teachers emerged the winners in this light-hearted and cheerful game.

The Sports Meet came to an end with the prize distribution and delivering the ‘ Vote of thanks.’

Principal, Mrs. Dipti Ingley extended her complete support and guidance for the overall success of the Sports Meet.The credit for the successful implementation goes to the P.E. teachers, Mr. Bhaurao Patil, Mr. Arun Jadhav, Mr. Yashodharan Jain, Mr.Bala and Mr. Madhu Patil. Of course, the Meet was also a showstopper due to the combined efforts of all the teachers, working amicably under all the different committees.
