A workshop on epilepsy awareness was conducted for the students of Class 9 on 16th November 2024 by Mrs. Shashikala C. Wali, Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at KLE College of Pharmacy, Belagavi.

A post-orientation career counseling session was organized for the students in grade 9 to 12, along with their parents on 8 th and 9 th August, 2024.

The resource person for promoting awareness about diverse avenues in career opportunities, overseas, was none other than Arush Dodwad, an alumnus and head boy of KLES' International School, Belagavi from the 2019-2020 batch. The students of Grade 10 and 11 definitely benefitted from this interactive session, conducted on 23 rd August 2024 and reflected on the immense possibilities of studying abroad.

Arush achieved his Cambridge A Levels in Law, Economics, and History at Mallya Aditi International School in Bengaluru.

Orientation programme successfully conducted for class 11 students and their parents on 15th June 2024 in the seminar hall.

KLES' International School, conducted a Marg Career counselling, Pre-orientation and Aptitude Test for students in grades IX to XII on June 11th and 12th, 2024.

KLES' International School, Belagavi played host to a transformative professional development training programme in partnership with Freedom Edu. Stones to Milestones, aimed at empowering educators within the Belgaum Cohort on 28th May 2024. The event, held at the prestigious Jirge Auditorium, featured renowned experts Ms Anna Ramsstedt, a doctoral researcher in philosophy and music education, and Ms Rajeshwari Bharat, an ECCE specialist.

The CBSE Capacity Building Programme on School Health and Wellness was hosted by KLES' International School, Belagavi on 22nd and 23rd April 2024. The strength of the participants was 58 out of which 30 teachers were from KLESIS.

The resource persons were Dr Mahesh Kadakkalakath,Principal Bapuji International School, Bagalkot and Mr Pandurang Kadu Patil, Principal S.M. Kaluti Composite Sports Eng. Med. High School, Ramdurga.

The eminent guests stressed on the need for effective communication, teamwork, stress management and decision-making skills to be cultivated effortlessly by the students.

A dynamic and engaging workshop titled "Navigating Adolescence" was skillfully curated for both Grade IX and VI students. It was held on April 17, 2024. Esteemed experts, Dr Santosh Kurbet, a Paediatric Surgeon from the Department of Paediatrics at JNMC, and Dr Hema Patil from the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at JNMC, graciously shared their insights and knowledge. Through interactive discussions and activities, students gained valuable understanding and guidance on adolescence and managing the different phases.

KLES' INTERNATIONAL School, Belagavi hosted a special 'Orientation program' on March 22, 2024, extending a warm welcome to the parents of our incoming Grade 1 students. Principal Dipti Ingley graced the occasion, highlighting the school's remarkable achievements and vision.

The students of KLES' International School, Belagavi witnessed an unusual drum recital on 21st December 2023 by Mr Ray Belli who is a professional drummer and who has been recording and touring internationally for the last 15 years. In 2010, he began studying Indian rhythm under Divyang Vakil, in Edison, NJ.

Over the years, Ray has worked closely with Divyang Vakil to develop a system for translating the tones and compositions of North Indian classical percussion onto the Western drumset.

The students of classes IX and XI visited KLE Advanced Simulation Centre & Clinical Skills Lab JNMC, Nehru Nagar, Belagavi during school hours in the second week of December. The students were fascinated by the hi-tech laboratories at JNMC which could simulate the most complex proceedings in medical sciences and thereby enhance the quality and effectiveness of all medical procedures

KLE SOCIETY'S CENTENARY LINGARAJ COLLEGE, BELAGAVI (AUTONOMOUS) in association with Institution's Innovation Council Lingaraj College had conducted the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Outreach Program at KLES' International School, Belagavi on 19th August 2023 at 11 am. A "career counseling session," held on 8 th August 23 for both class 9 students and their parents, and on 9 th August 23 for class 10, aimed to provide guidance and insights into potential career paths.

On July 14th, 2023, KLES' International School in Belagavi hosted a transformative workshop on adolescence for students from Classes IX and VI. The primary goal of the workshop was to cultivate a positive mindset among these young individuals as they navigate through the physical and emotional changes that accompany their teenage years. On July 1, 2023, KLES' Institute of Physiotherapy, along with Dr. Ganesh and his team, conducted a workshop on 'Obesity and Physical Fitness' specifically designed for 8th and 9th-grade students. The workshop aimed to educate the students about the importance of maintaining physical fitness, understanding obesity, and adopting healthy lifestyle habits.

The online Career Guidance Test conducted through tablets on 21st June 2023 has been successfully completed, providing valuable insights for future career choices.

KLES' International School, Belagavi, hosted the CBSE Capacity Building Workshop on Learning Outcomes and Pedagogies, to mould the characters of their students and create the right impact on eager and impressionistic minds on 3rd June 2023 from 9 AM to 5 PM. While 51 teachers from various CBSE Schools in and around Belagavi attended the workshop, the teachers from KLESIS participated were 12.

The differential, experiential and inclusive learning in the classrooms were dealt with in an elaborate way.

The teacher training workshop for the middle school and the high school teachers was conducted by Mr Mahantesh Kanthi on 2nd June 2023 at KLES' International School, Belagavi.

He has been conducting career guidance programmes and teacher training workshops in schools for the past few years as he believes that education is the key to progress and prosperity. He focused on activity-based learning as he believes that the concepts and themes are better understood through minds-on learning, by students today.

KLE Dr. M. S. Sheshgiri College of Engineering and Technology, Belagavi had organised the AICTE-IDEA LAB, a 5-day training programme on 3D modeling, and 3 in 1 machine , under the project of Atma Nirbhar Bharat , for the school students and teachers of KLES' International School, Belagavi.

The 2 day CBSE Capacity Building workshop on 'Experiential Learning' was conducted on 3rd and 4th June 2022 at KLES' International School, Belagavi. The workshop which was attended by 70 teachers from CBSE schools in Belgaum District, was off to a good start with the rendering of the Saraswati Vandana by Sharadi Hegde and a Bharatnatyam performance by the school troupe.

' Opportunities across borders- Education abroad' was organized by Resource person, Ms. Sarika Tammanavar, Manager at Greenline Education Consultant Pvt. Ltd. The students of class 12 were informed about the career prospects abroad and the means to achieve their goals.

The training and evaluation of the Tenvic Sports South Zone Table Tennis Coaches was conducted at KLES' International School Belagavi on 29th and 30th October 2022.

The coaches were trained and evaluated by Mr. Gurucharan Gill ( High performance Coach & International Table Tennis Federation Course Conductor), Mr. Gokul Nadesan(Human Resources), Mr. Ravi Pillai, Mr. Abhishek Katare and Mr. Amit Poonacha(Operations executives) conducted the event. Tenvic table tennis coaches from all over Karnataka & Tamilnadu were present for this memorable occasion.

A workshop to enumerate the benefits of a career in Hotel management was organized on 15th February, 2021 for the students of PU I and II by the reputed faculty of KLE Hotel Management, Belagavi.
The students were enlightened about the exceptional job benefits, ample career opportunities and a much sought after lifestyle with all the perks involved.

Going Global the German way!
An online two week German digital Adolescent age is a sensitive age that should be treading upon with responsibility and care. A shift in focus, awareness about the changing times and the right perspective is the need of the hour.
With this sole intention in mind, an online Adolescent workshop was conducted by the school counselor, Mrs. Usha Patil for the students of classes 6 and 9 of KLES' International School, Belagavi on 3rd November, 2020 to sensitize the students about this wonderful phase in their lives and ways to deal with the challenging issues successfully.
The workshop was a great success with the students familiarizing themselves with this delicate issue in an interactive manner.

Going Global the German way!
An online two week German digital workshop was attended by Master Sujal Sawant of KLES' International School, Belagavi recently which promoted the learning of the German language along with finding effective solutions for the existing global problems. There were 50 participants from across the globe.

This educational programme at Goethe also included fun-sessions where the children could showcase their talents and win accolades. Sujal narrated that it was an experience to cherish and reach yet another milestone by adding one more feather to his cap.

'Mighty Minds' Mr. Rohith Vuppu conducted a workshop on the power of sub-conscious mind with his eminent team on 28th November, 2019 for classes V to X.

KLES’ International School, Belagavi has successfully witnessed the Lodestar Interaction Sessions for students of classes 8 to 10 in August, 2019. The students along with their parents are being counseled about the right career options in the near future.

To sensitize the students about the threat looming large over Mother Earth, a workshop was conducted by Mr. Sameer Majali, co-ordinator of Green Saviours - The Venugreen Project (Tree Plantation and creation of mini forest) at KLES' International School, Belagavi on 22nd April, 2019. He stressed on the theme, 'Hidden Life of Trees' and encouraged the students to implement this one of a kind, Green Campaign in Western Ghats.

The English teachers of KLES’ International School, Belagavi had participated in the Oxford workshop on 8th and 9th , 2019 to update themselves about the most interesting methods and techniques to interact with the students and the accepted norms in the question paper setting for the higher classes.
Mrs. Gayatri Khanna, the resource person, is a multi faceted person who has juggled various tasks from being a journalist, an author, an editor, a teacher at the post graduate level, an HOD and a coordinator for schools, a resource person, a consultant to conducting teacher training programmes for NCERT, SCERT, DIET and Oxford University Press.
She is presently associated with the Oxford University Press’ resource panel as an expert on English language and teaching.The invaluable inputs in the teaching of class 9 and 10 in the literature aspects, planning the web organisers, graphic texts, the different learning outcomes in various activities was remarkable. Also the advantages of engaging the students in significant, appealing and ingenious activities according to their age groups, place and culture was stressed upon.
