Heritage Walk

KLES' International School, Belagavi orchestrated an enlightening Heritage Walk to the historic Rajhansgad on 25th October 2024, inviting 37 dedicated members of INTACH to journey into the past. Under the insightful guidance of INTACH in-charge teacher, Ms. Seema Jalgar, and the enthusiastic Ms. Shilpa Hosmani, students explored the rich heritage of Rajhansgad. This immersive experience offered a remarkable opportunity for students to connect with history and embrace the beauty of local heritage, deepening their appreciation for the region's cultural legacy.

INTACH DHAROHAR 2024-25

The inaugural function of INTACH DHAROHAR 2024-25 was held at KLES' International School, Belagavi, on 13th August 2024. The event was graced by the chief guest, Dr. Mrs. Smita Surebankar, Ph.D., retired Associate Professor and Head of the History Department at RDP College, Belagavi, who shared her valuable insights. The occasion was also attended by the principal, HOD Mrs. Renuka Nannoji, INTACH in-charge Mrs. Seema Jalgar, and Mrs. Archana Kadam.

Heritage Exhibition

Words say it all !!!
Miss Sharadhi Hegde was selected the best Intach member of the Intach club of KLES' International School, 'Dharohar' by the club Incharge Ms. Seema Jalgar.

Sharadhi presented an essay of 500 words in which she had described her learning experience as an Intach member and also had reviewed the activities that helped her grow as an individual.

The article was one among the 30 best articles from the entire country and was acknowledged by INTACH- Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage.

Principal, Mrs. Dipti Ingley has congratulated Sharadhi on her meritorious performance.

Heritage Exhibition

HERITAGE IN ALL ITS HUES!
INTACH Club(DHAROHAR) of KLES' International School, Belagavi, conducted a heritage exhibition on 23rd February, 2019 wherein students displayed various items, inherited from their ancestors.
It provided the students with a sense of identity and belonging. The students enjoyed this event immensely which transported all, back to the classic era. Their efforts to preserve these vintage items depicting our rich past and culture were greatly appreciated by the Principal, teachers and the parents.

Badami Field Trip -2017

'Speaking rocks is the wonder of our country, preserve it for our future'
The Intach Club of the school had organised a heritage tour to Badami, Pattadakal and Aihole which have been declared the world heritage sites to create awareness about our heritage, culture and architecture. Teacher incharge Ms. Seema Jalgar was accompanied by Ms. Sarojini D and Mr. Jain Y.
